This privacy policy explains how Kylie Goldman, MSW, T.S. ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information through this website (kyliegoldman.com) and in the course of providing professional services. I take your privacy seriously and comply with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and the OTSTCFQ Code of Ethics.

What information I collect
Through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message.
When you book a consultation through Calendly: your name, email, and the time you select. Calendly may collect additional information governed by their own privacy policy.
In the course of providing professional services: information shared by you and your family during evaluations, consultations, and counselling sessions, including health-related information necessary to perform a psychosocial evaluation.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. When an advertising campaign is running, Google Ads is used to measure whether ads lead to contact requests. These tools use cookies, and they stay off unless you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of each page. The site also relies on Cloudflare and Netlify infrastructure logs for basic functionality. I do not sell personal information or use it for any other marketing purpose.
Why I collect it and how I use it
Contact form information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Booking information is used to schedule and confirm your consultation. Information shared during professional services is used to deliver those services and prepare any reports required (for example, a psychosocial evaluation report submitted to the Court).
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing purposes. I do not send unsolicited promotional communications.
Where it is stored and who has access
Contact form submissions are delivered by FormSubmit or by Netlify, my website host, and arrive in my email inbox. Netlify also keeps a copy of form submissions in my account. Booking information is stored by Calendly. These are third-party service providers with their own privacy practices, and their servers may be located outside Quebec.
Professional records related to your case are stored securely in accordance with the OTSTCFQ Code of Ethics and Quebec professional record-keeping regulations. Access is limited to me, except where disclosure is required by law (for example, a Court order) or authorized by you.
How long it is kept
Contact form messages and consultation booking information are retained as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable follow-up period (typically up to 24 months), then deleted unless you become a client.
Professional records are retained for the period required by Quebec professional regulations, generally five years after the last service, longer in certain circumstances such as ongoing legal proceedings.
Your rights
Under Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Access personal information I hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent to certain uses (this may affect my ability to provide services)
- Request deletion or anonymization, subject to legal record-keeping obligations
- File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you believe your privacy rights have been violated

Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, theft, and unauthorized access, including encrypted storage, password protection on all professional records, and access limited to me. No system is perfectly secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party services
This website uses the following third parties: Netlify (hosting and form handling), Cloudflare (DNS and security), Calendly (booking), FormSubmit (contact form delivery), Google Analytics and Google Ads (site statistics and ad measurement), and Google Fonts (typography). Each has its own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
